Take Back Time is a phone usage tracking app that runs entirely on your device. It does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.

We do not collect any data. Specifically:

No usage data is sent to any server
No analytics or tracking tools are used
No advertisements are displayed
No third-party SDKs that collect data are included
No account creation is required

Permissions

Take Back Time requests a single permission:

Usage Access (PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS): Read-only access to app usage statistics via Android’s UsageStatsManager API. This data is queried locally on your device and never leaves it.

Data Storage

All data stays on your device. The app queries Android’s built-in usage statistics and displays them to you. No data is written to external storage, cloud services, or remote databases.

Third-Party Services

Take Back Time does not integrate with any third-party services, APIs, or analytics platforms.

Children’s Privacy

Take Back Time does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13.
